Steven Ray Meeks, (Steve), 68, of Debary, Florida, passed away on October 3rd, 2023 in Ocala, Florida. Steve was born in Harlan County, Kentucky to Billy Ray Meeks and Marietta Jean Pursiful on March 13th, 1955. He had a passion for motorcycles, Mustangs, German Shepherds, and most of all, metal detecting, where he was a member of the Central Florida Metal Detecting Club. Steve is survived by his children Jason (Karen) Meeks, Robin Gaynor, Christina (Russell) Hickman; brother, Billy (Janet) Meeks; sister, Michelle Meeks; grandchildren, Sebastian, Ayden, Jayden, Madison, Caitlyn, Logan, Valen, and Xander, as well as his niece and nephew, Angela and Brad (Cathy), and his great-nephew, Max. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kim Meeks and his parents. Celebration of Life will be held at Gemini Springs County Park, Debary, FL on January 28th at 1:00-3:00.
