World traveler and retired Commissioner of Health, Ron Murray’s love of life didn’t come to an end with his death. Ron passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and under the care of hospice in his home in Citrus Hills, Florida on 10/28/2021 at the age of 71. His family will carry on his love of travel and adventure. Ron earned his Bachelor of Science from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut and his Master’s degree from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He touched many lives as the Commissioner of Health for the city of Middletown, Ohio. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 53 years Donna, his daughter Cristin and her husband Eric Petzold, his son Shane and his wife Mary Beth, and grandchildren Zane Petzold, Lilly, Gabe and Zach Murray, his sister Robin and her husband George, and their children George, Scott, James and Kaitlin and many great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
