Elizabeth Jane Kastory

Elizabeth Jane “Bee Jay” (Graham) Kastory, age 86, of The Villages, FL, passed away on June 19, 2026, after a brief illness during which her family and close friends were abundantly present.

She was born on August 13, 1939, in Pittsburgh, PA to Ambrose Allen Graham and Alice (Yarmer) Graham. Bee Jay grew up in Pittsburgh and graduated from Oliver High School in 1957. On November 2, 1961, she married Paul “Kasey” George Kastory. They settled in Middlesex Township, PA, built their dream house on 17 acres of beautiful wooded property, and together they shared 18 years of marriage—a marriage shortened with Kasey’s passing in 1979. As a young widow, Bee Jay pursued a degree in accounting, graduated from Robert Morris College, and enjoyed a 20+ year career in accounting.

Bee Jay lived a full life with close family and friend relationships. She was lovingly known as “MeMe” to her three grandchildren (and to many others who loved her) and was active in her grandchildren’s lives despite the physical miles between them.

Bee Jay moved to The Villages in 2018 and was finally able to be warm year-round! There, she embraced the golf cart life and enjoyed pickleball, golf, and live music in village squares!

Bee Jay was known for her great love of chocolate! Beyond chocolate, Bee Jay had many other passions, including racquet sports (tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball), sewing (for which she received numerous ribbons in fair and farm show competitions), gardening (her plumeria were her favorite), reading, and visits to the library. She took advantage of any opportunity to get sand between her toes!

Bee Jay is survived by her children, Janice Arcari and her husband, David, of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Jane Simmon of Columbia, SC; and her grandchildren, Elane “Laney” Clements and her husband, Lawrence, of Knoxville, TN, Lorrane “Raney” Baker and her husband, William, of Richmond, VA, and Thomas “Tommy” McCloskey and his wife, Elee, of Greenville, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband; her brother, Allen Graham; and both parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date with details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Bee Jay's memory to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation at https://www.macular.org/
