Scott Groshong
Scott Lee Groshong was born on October 4, 1959 in Oregon City, OR at Oregon City Hospital to Ronald L. and Ida D. (Hargitt) Groshong.
Scott died on August 30, 2023 in The Villages, Florida, he was 63 years old.
He was cremated and requested “No services.”
He graduated from Clackamas High School in 1977. His “apprenticeship” began at Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC Structurals Inc.) at the age of 16 (1976), as a janitor with Engineering in his future sights.
Scott, with his continued education, excelled at everything related to Engineering in his career with them over 42 years. He spent a great deal of time in Sweden on behalf of PCC in his career, that he was fond of and often spoke of delightful memories of there. He had an insatiable curiosity, along with a thirst for knowledge in all aspects and a zest for life. Forced to retire in 2018, due to terminal medical diagnosis; He devoted his retirement time to his wife, family, and friends. He was loyal, passionate, protective, caring, intelligent, loving, innovative, creative and a proud Brother, Nephew, Cousin, Husband, Father, Uncle, Grandfather, and Friend. He had a fun & quirky sense of humor, a genuine concerning heart, a larger-than-life presence, and love for family that will be missed by all that knew him.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald and Ida Groshong, his brother, Douglas Groshong and his son, Spencer Groshong.
Survived by his loving Wife, Pamela Groshong, and his children / step-children (5): Stephanie Penney, Ian Groshong, Nicholas Puckett, Steven Lindquist Jr. (Melina Lindquist), Bradley Lindquist (Christy Lindquist) and his grandchildren (11): Paige, Breck, Alicia, Lex, Cassidy, Opie, William, Margaery, Loki, Lucy, and Irene all had a special place in his life and heart. Last, but not least, Kiki, his beloved fur baby.
Cremation has taken place at Coast-to-Coast Cremations 212 SW 6th St, Ocala, FL.

He is loved by one and many.
