Margaret “Marge” Elizabeth Earley, 88 of Ocala, FL passed away Friday March 18, 2022 at HCA Florida
Ocala Hospital from a long reoccurring battle of Lung cancer. She was born on June 18, 1933 in
Monkton, MD daughter of the late William and Mary (Hagan) Anderson Sr.

She was preceded in death by her son Ernest Leitch, along with Brother William “Bill” Anderson Jr. (Anna
Mary), John “Sonny” Anderson (Marie), George Anderson (Sabrina), Infant sister and faithful dog Tiffney.
Margaret is survived by her lifelong companion Donald Earley Sr. of Ocala, along with her children. Son,
Justin Leitch (Linda), Daughter Debbie Earley and Son Donald Earley Jr. Also surviving are her Brother,
Kenneth “Kenny” Anderson (Marcy), Sister Betty Gillenwater (Pierce), 15 Grandchildren and numerous
great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Marge started her career at Safeway in 4/18/67 lasting over 20 years. She joined the Amalgamated
Meat Cutters and Butcher Workmen of North America AFL-CIO – Local Union No. 117.

First and foremost, she had a strong devotion to her Christian faith. Two of Marge’s fondest memories
were her trip to Hawaii with her sister Betty and having her picture taken with Dale Earnhardt Sr. and
Richard Petty. Marge enjoyed listening to Country and Blue Grass music, watching NASCAR and
attending a race when she could. She loved spending time with family and friends telling stories and
talking about old times especially while eating blue crabs along with a nice cold one.

The family would like to extend our gratitude to the Ocala Hospital doctors and nursing staff (especially
Rachel) for taking special care of her and to James Jordan, family friend, caretaker and chauffer. A celebration of life will be determined at a later date by her family.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to your local
Humane Society in honor of Margaret.
