Lillian Ann Traylor
Lillian “Libbye” Ann Traylor (née Keener), 70, of Ocala Florida, went home to be with The Lord on July 4, 2021; passing peacefully, after a fierce yearlong battle with AML.
She was born June 13, 1951, in Sutton, West Virginia, to the late Albert and Marie (Searfoss) Keener. Libbye graduated in 1969 from Vermilion High School. She continued her education becoming a certified childcare worker which eventually led her to her most recent career, one she loved, with Marion County Schools Extended Day program.
She married the late Elmer Traylor in 1996. She is survived by her son, Jayson (Stephanie) Keener of Dayton Ohio; granddaughter Aleyah of Orlando Florida; brother Charles (Pat) Keener, Ohio. Libbye was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Marie (Searfoss) Keener; sister, Sandy (Keener) Johnson; nephew, Shawn Johnson, & loving husband Elmer Traylor.
A true “Rambling Lilli,” she was always ready for a new adventure whether it was a trip with family and friends or a big move for new job. Libbye was spontaneous. She loved to spend time in the sun by the pool, sing karaoke, have movie nights and a cocktail with those she loved. She never met a stranger, was caring and giving and loved her family with all of her heart. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
A celebration of her Life for family and Friends will be held 5:30-8:30 pm on September 5th, 2021, at Mill Hollow Carriage Barn Meeting Room, 51211 North Ridge Rd Vermilion OH.
