Frank J. Fischkelta Sr.

Frank J. Fischkelta Sr. of Ocala, FL passed away peacefully on Monday June 6, 2022.

As a young adult he enlisted with the United States Air Force and served as a Sergeant with the 81st Civil Engineer Squad where he became a firefighter. He was honorably discharged after serving our country for four years.

During his lifetime he would help and serve local Special Needs Adults at the ARC Marion County as well as Special Olympics and We Who Care of Marion County. He enjoyed in his spare time mowing lawns with his sons Frank Jr. and Richard and helping out friends in need. He will be missed by the many people that had the opportunity to meet him.

Left to cherish his memory are his partner, Jennifer ex-wife Nancy, his children Dawn, Frank Jr., Richard, Rebecca, his sisters Shawn and Ellen, his grandchildren, Joshua, Laila, Sophia, Tyler, Axel, and Noah, his nieces and nephews Andrew, Emilie, Hannah, and Marissa. Frank is preceded in death by his mother Gertrude, father Angelo, and sister Barbara.

Frank’s family will be holding a “Celebration of Life & Memorial Service” on June 25, 2022 at 10:00am at the ARC of Marion County 2800 SE Maricamp Rd, Ocala, FL 34471. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the ARC of Marion County or Hospice of Marion County.
