Stephen Craig Gagliardo

June 4, 1957 » July 7, 2024

Stephen Craig Gagliardo, 67, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on July 7, 2024. He was a kind man who often put others before himself. As his final act of love, he helped his mother with a home improvement project.

He was born in Olean, New York, in 1957 to Vivian and Joseph Gagliardo. After his father’s passing, his mother remarried, and he had three sisters. He always loved airplanes and enlisted in the Air Force after graduating high school. His service in the Air Force led to his enduring respect for those who served our country.

During his service, he developed an interest in computers that would become a lifelong passion. He later earned his degree in telecommunications from St Petersburg College. He worked for the St Petersburg Times as a network engineer for most of his career. He loved all things science fiction, cashews, and taking naps.

A friend set him up on a blind date, and he married in 1984 to Kim Davidson. Together, they raised their daughters, Stephanie and Samantha. He is survived by his wife, daughters, three grandchildren, and his mother. His friends and family will greatly miss him.

His memorial service will be held at Amvets, 4629 Bartelt Rd, Holiday, FL on July 28 at 2 pm and his interment service and military salute on July 29 at 3 pm at Bay Pines National Cemetery, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL.
