Robert “Bob” Edward Owenby

Robert “Bob” E. Owenby, born on May 7, 1949, in Leesburg, Florida, passed away due to Progressive Supranuclear    Palsy, on December 19, 2024, in Ocala, Florida. A devoted follower of Christ, Bob was known for his compassionate and kind nature, leaving a lasting impact as a mentor to many.

Retiring from a lifelong career at CenturyLink, Bob found joy in simple pleasures such as fishing, traveling, and spending cherished moments with his family. His favorite place in the world was anywhere with his loved ones, reflecting the deep bonds he nurtured throughout his life.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Melinda Owenby, and their daughter, Becca Laws, who is married to Randy. He greatly adored his granddaughters, Olivia Pagan, (Logan Williams), and Katelynn Laws, (Brandon Glass).

Bob’s legacy will be remembered through the countless lives he touched, guiding many individuals to the Lord with his unwavering faith and gentle spirit. His warmth and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
