Paul was surrounded by his beloved wife Deborah Watson, 2 of his children, Christopher and David Watson along with a few of his grandchildren Megan, Alexis and Ashlyn Watson. Paul is survived by his wife, Deborah Watson, children, Richard Watson, Chris Watson, Angela Leland, David Watson, and Kelly Boon, as well as his former wife Christine Dudzik.
A true horseman and sports analyst for Arsenal football. Paul spent most of his younger years in England playing English soccer and racing horses before moving to the United States in 1993, where he spent the remainder of his years immersed in the world of horses and agriculture. His deep respect for horses and agriculture was evident in everything he did-from early mornings in the barn training, racing and caring for horses all the way to his dedication of lending his agricultural expertise to the students of North Marion High School. Horses were not just his passion; they were a reflection of his character-steadfast, hardworking, and loyal.
Paul’s greatest devotion was always to his family. As a father, he provided guidance, wisdom, and unwavering support. As a brother, he was a shoulder to lean on, a source of support and companionship. As a grandfather and great-grandfather, he found immense joy in sharing stories, life lessons, and laughter, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.
He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue to ride on – in the lives he shaped, the love he gave, and the enduring bonds he shared with not only his family but with his horse family as well.
