Patricia Frances Gluck

Patricia Frances Gluck was born in April 1941 to parents Stanley and Ann Kowalcik. She resided in Old Forge PA and graduated from Old Forge High School.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her immediate family on July 29, 2021, in Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness, Florida.

She is preceded in death by her older sister Regina Lilly and both of her parents. Surviving is her younger sister Barbara Prendergast, Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania; daughter Debra Griffin, Tampa, Florida; daughter Pamela Gluck, Milford. Pennsylvania; Tristan Geery, her beloved grandson Tampa, Florida; James Kobesky, her partner of 10 years; and son-in-law Timothy Griffin, Tampa, Florida.

Patricia spent most of her life working in health care. She worked in the Jewish Nursing Home in Scranton for over 30 years as an activities aid. She enjoyed her co-workers and was devoted to the residents she cared for. As people got to know her, they came to see that she was an extremely kind and generous person with a huge personality and was very humorous. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed creating beautiful flower arrangements as a hobby among so many other creative crafts. She loved animals and enjoyed making people happy. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family, and especially loved spending time with her grandson Tristan. She will be missed by those who know and love her.

Private services will be held for family and friends at a later date.
