
Norman Lee Cooper
Norman Cooper, born on February 25,1938 in Lost Creek, WV, passed away on October 21,2025 in Florida. He was 87 years old.
Norman was the son of the late Randall and Noreen Cooper. He was preceded in death by his brother Neal Burk Cooper, his son Troy Cooper and Stepson Brian Doukas.
He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy Arbogast Cooper and stepson James Doukas. His previous wife Patsy Cooper, with Kim Free (David) of Crozet, VA, Randy Cooper (Dora) of Mclean, VA, and Norma Cooper of Gordonsville, VA. Also, Jay Coper of Dagsboro, Delaware and Chris Cooper of Florida. He also leaves eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren, and three great step grandchildren.
He received a PhD in Electrical Engineering and was a member of Mensa.
Norman’s early life was very adventurous. From sky diving, shark hunting and treasure hunting. Prior to retiring from his equipment Engineering Co., EECO Inc., and selling the farm he enjoyed for over 50 years to move to Florida and enjoy the warm weather with his wife.
Norman is the family’s Superman who could fix, make, or design anything. But his biggest enjoyment was working on the farm and being with his family. He will greatly be missed by his family and friends.
