Nancy J. George Pullins

Nancy Pullins of Dunnellon, FL, age 83, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022,
peacefully at home with her kids around her. Nancy was born December 4, 1938, &
lived most of her life in Lancaster, OH.
She was born to Wayne & Kathryn George who precede her in death. She was the
oldest of 5 children. 2 sisters & brother in law, Linda George & Ruthie (Rodney Sr.)
Kisor, & her son in law, Jon Hill who also precedes her in death.
Nancy was married to Roger (Pops) Pullins for almost 17 wonderful years! RIP POPS,
we lost him November 2018. They are back together again dancing to Anne Murray’s,
Could I have this dance!
Nancy was a beloved Mom, Grandma, & Nanny to many of us. She talked to everyone
& never knew a stranger. Our Mom was one of thee most good hearted women you
would ever want to meet. She loved to always see the best in everybody. She was a
Kooky Nut that we loved to pick on & her day was not complete if nobody made her
say “OO” from being startled.
She retired from Irving Drew Shoes & Tiki Bowling Lanes in Lancaster Ohio. There
are many great people she met over the years working at those places that she called
her friends. Mom loved to laugh, was always smiling and happy!
Nancy is survived by her 2 daughters Nickie (Chuck) Wemer, Dennie (Eddie) Setters.
Her sister Mary Lou Shaeffer & brother Tom (Leanna) George. Her grandchildren
Cody (Mikayla) Hill, Colton (Amber) Hill, Kristen (Shue) Setters, Ashley (Damian)
Setters, Austin (Kayla) Setters, Curtis Setters, Kylie (Patrick) Eyman, MaryAnn
(Chuck) Lafollette & also stepchildren Art (Donna) Pullins, Tina Kirkland, & Jenny
(Greg) Morrison. She had many grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, & nephews all
who she loved so much.
Arrangements for her Celebration of Life Party will be made in the Spring & will take
place in Lancaster, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, we are requesting donations be made in Mom’s name to St. Jude
Children’s Hospital. Mom loved all the babies!
