Michael “Mikey” Fedak, born on October 3, 1981 in Anchorage, AK left this world on February 12, 2024 after a valiant battle with ALS in the comfort of his home. Being of a military family his hometowns growing up include McDonald, PA and S. Ogden, UT. Michael is survived by his wife Kimberli Fedak and their children Cassidy Kelly (David Thiros),  Ansleigh Kelly, Deklan Kelly; grandchild Kalina; father William Fedak; mother Audrie Merrell; siblings Dustin Fedak (Tawni), Denise Robinson (Jerome Jr), Amy Fedak; and 10 nieces and nephews.

Michael’s memory will forever be cherished by his parents & family and his absence is deeply felt by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Straight out of high school, Michael made the selfless decision to join the Army and proudly followed in his father’s footsteps to serve our country for ten years. His dedication and commitment to serving others continued throughout his life as he became widely known for his skills as a bar tender and chef. With every dish he prepared, Michael infused it with love and passion that could instantly make your mouth water.

His infectious smile had the power to brighten any room while his bear hugs brought comfort and warmth to everyone around him.

Mikey  found joy in simple pleasures like spending time outdoors or sharing stories over good food with friends and family. His kindness knew no bounds as he always went above and beyond for those around him without expecting anything in return and was everyone’s best friend.

The legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering strength that he leaves behind will continue to inspire us all.

Though we mourn the physical absence of such an extraordinary soul from our lives today, we take solace knowing that memories of Michael will live on eternally within each one of us.

It’s not goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later.
