Mary (Macy) Monaghan

Mary was born June 15, 1955, at Naval Hospital Bethesda, MD to Della Dean Poulin and Norman R. Poulin. She was the eldest child in a Navy military family and lived with her family in Japan, Okinawa, Scotland, Puerto Rico, New Hampshire, Virginia, Maryland, and Michigan. Mary graduated from high school in Virginia Beach, VA, and spent her entire working years with various insurance agencies as a claims agent. After retiring from Nationwide Insurance, she was an on-call agent for FEMA to assist in claims after national emergencies. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Morris Yazbek, and her mother. She is survived by her husband, Ric Monaghan of Gainesville, FL; her son, Norman Richard Long of Lehigh Acres, FL; her granddaughters, Kaitlin and Kairi Yazbek of Cape Coral, FL; her father of Gainesville, FL; her sister, Loretta Poulin Jackson of Satellite Beach, FL; her brother, Norman D Poulin (Susan) of Cleveland, GA; brother, Thomas E. Poulin (Linda} of Chesapeake, VA; brother, William G Poulin (Carol) of Orlando, FL; several nieces and nephews. Per her wishes, a small memorial service will be held at Crescent Beach, FL at a later date.
