Margaret Carolyn Nelson

Margaret “Carolyn” Green Nelson of Paisley, FL passed away August 5th, 2021 at Waterman hospital in Tavares, Florida.

Carolyn was born and raised in Bessemer, Alabama to L.B. and Ida Green on September 5th, 1949. She was preceded in death by her true love of 52 years, Earl M. Nelson of Clanton, Alabama. Most of their married life they lived in the Clanton and Montgomery, AL area before settling in Paisley, Florida. They were preceded in death by their beloved sons Alexander William and Craig Jerry Nelson.

Carolyn was preceded in death by both parents and her brothers Tommy Green and Jamey Green. Carolyn is survived by her sister Katherine Smith, Louie Green (Nancy), James “Jerry” Green (Evelyn), and Dwayne Green (Tonja), and children Tanya Nelson Ungaro and Jason E. Nelson. Two grandchildren, Craig D. Ungaro and Hunter Nelson, three great-grandchildren; Jaylen Ibel, Tristan and Aria Ungaro. She was loved by a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends. Our heartache on Earth can not compare to the excitement of meeting their Lord and Savior.

A memorial service is set for August 21st, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Umatilla in Umatilla, FL at 2:00pm. The family of Carolyn and Earl would love to welcome all to come and celebrate their life and love.
