Kirsten Erica Johnson

Kirsten Erica Johnson passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2023 at Ocala Regional Hospital.

Kirsten was only 59 years old at her passing.

Her family and her friends ,many of whom  she served so spiritedly in her accounting firm , are deeply saddened by her passing.

Kirsten is survived by her husband Bryan Stewart, her mother in law Donna Tate, father in law William Tate , and her long time best friend Sheri ‘Mach’ Seigenthaler who Kirsten always considered  to be family.

Kirsten is predeceased by her mother Mary Johnson, her father Eric Johnson, and by the person she considered the only grandfather she ever knew and loved Rex ‘pap’ Quillen from Middlesboro, Ky. and Gillis Arthur Stewart, her husbands’ father,  who set her at ease and gave her great comfort in times of stress.

Kirsten was born in Brooklyn, NY on august 27, 1963.

Her parents moved to Florida with their stopping in Ocala, fl first at the advice of a family Dr. ,due to childhood allergies ,then settled further south in Lauderdale by the Sea where Kirsten went to  Pine Crest  School and graduated in 1981.

Kirsten is a U of F graduate and a Florida Atlantic University graduate where she eventually became a CPA.

Kirsten moved to Ocala with her husband and Dugan and Joiner gave Kirsten her career start as a CPA and laid the groundwork to eventually open her own firm.

Kirsten loved her clients and they loved her . With the hectic climate and stress of each annual tax season, Kirsten had the ability to put everyone she took as a client at ease eventually making a lasting friendship. Kirsten was everyone’s best friend when you got to meet her and to Bryan her husband priceless, irreplaceable, unique, and one of a kind who made Ocala and the world a better place to be.

Kirsten battled rheumatoid arthritis for 30 years never accepting victim hood but fought it valiantly despite always being in pain.

Rest In Peace my ‘miss’ ‘my sweet ‘ for God in his mercy has taken you home. You will be missed beyond anything words can say. I will love you forever and I’ll always be your ‘smav ‘forever.
