John William Buchanan, Jr.

John William Buchanan, Jr., of Webster, Florida, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025.
Born on October 7, 1940, John (Jack) spent 33 years as an elevator mechanic for Otis Elevator in
Pennsylvania. He was an avid horseman throughout his life and showed both reining and cutting
horses. He also enjoyed boating and saltwater fishing.
In his later years, Jack found a special sense of community among friends in his RV park in
Webster, Florida, a place that brought him much joy.
Jack was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda Lee (Goff) Buchanan; his daughter,
Barbara Ann Buchanan; his parents, John and Florence Buchanan; and his brother, Robert
Buchanan.
He is survived by his daughters, Jaclin (Richard) Krumrine and Melissa (Brian) Klaus and; his
son, Christopher Buchanan; his grandchildren, Jessica (Matthew), Colin (Morgan), Brandon,
Thomas, Zachery, Tyler, and Emily; and his great-grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Sophie Lin,
and Michael. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Joann Buchanan.
A private family burial will be held at Goodwill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Elverson,
Pennsylvania. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Goodwill United
Methodist Church.
