Harry Homer Hawkins

Harry Homer Hawkins, 75, of Citra, FL passed away on August 7, 2023, in Citra, FL.

Harry was born in White Oak Township, MI to Ford and Pauline Hawkins on March 16, 1948. He graduated from Stockbridge High School in 1968.

He served as a Marine from 1968 to 1974 when he was drafted after high school. He worked as a diesel mechanic at Ring Power for 15 years. He worked many different mechanic jobs, as that was his passion that he passed on to his daughter.

He grew up on a farm where he developed his strong work ethic. He enjoyed working outside with the animals on the farm he lived on. He enjoyed doing word puzzles and reading. He enjoyed watching westerns.

Harry is survived by his daughters Jennifer Sewell of Summerfield, Annisa (Edgar) Hill of Summerfield.
His siblings Ronald (Linda) Hawkins of Stockbridge, MI, Charles Hawkins of Webberville, MI, and Dick
(Judy) Hawkins of Fitchburg, MI. His grandchildren Nathaniel Sewell, Justice Sewell, Edwin Sewell Jr,
Serenity Sewell, Annie-Elizabeth Hill, and Aaliyah Hill. His great grandchildren Alayah and Kadien
Chambers. He is preceded in death by his parents Ford and Pauline Hawkins, his siblings Robert
Hawkins, Howard Hawkins, Juanita Hawkins, Charles Hawkins, and Dick Hawkins.

Funeral services will be held at 8585 SE 147 th Pl Summerfield, FL 34491 on August 17, 2023 at 3 p.m.
with Pastor David Brett of Village View Community Church officiating.
