Edward John Peters

Edward John Peters, 53, of Citrus County FL passed away Thursday, August 4th, 2022. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on August 24, 1968. He later moved to Florida but went back to New York City to attend and graduate college from Fordham University.

Ed (Eddie) was passionate about his faith and his family. He was all in! He loved to spend his time in the outdoors, especially with Dallas (his boy, aka chocolate lab) and attending his daughter’s athletic events. He was hands down, their biggest fan.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Kari Peters; daughters, Madison and Mckala Peters; mother, Shirley OBrien; sisters Joanne Murphy, Sue DeSomma, and Elizabeth Spence; brother Sam Peters; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a memorial service for Ed at 4:00 pm, Sunday, August 14 at Seven Rivers Church. 4221 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy, Lecanto, FL 34461.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ed’s name may be made to Aspire Relationship Center, the non-profit that Ed’s wife started with his faithful support.
