Dennis Alexander Glisson, 40, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on May 2, 2025, after bravely facing cancer with unwavering strength, courage, and unmatched determination.
Born on May 24, 1984, in Jacksonville, Alexander grew up joyfully in the sun and waves of Jacksonville Beach, where he loved surfing with friends. A lifelong athlete and entrepreneur, he found purpose in building and running his successful Tree and Property Service. His deep connection to nature and talent among the trees were both grounding for him and inspiring to all who knew him.
Alex will be remembered for his kind heart and adventurous and fighting spirit. Even in the face of adversity, he remained a fighter, a protector, and a source of strength to those around him.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Kimberly Salameh; and his cherished sister, Denise. He leaves behind his beloved children, Daughter, Alexandra and Son, Jeremiah Glisson, as well as his niece, Milana, and nephew, Leo Glisson—who will carry his legacy forward with pride.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Dennis L. Glisson, and grandmother, Gloria Salameh.
