Charles “Bud” Barnhart

Charles “Bud” A. Barnhart, 81, of Silver Springs, FL, passed away on March 5, 2024, at Advent Health Hospital. He was born on April 25, 1942, in Zanesville, Ohio, to Charles Barnhart and Francis Scovel.

Bud was married to Marlene E. (Sowers) Barnhart on May 4, 1964, and together they shared a life filled with love and companionship. He worked as a Construction Supervisor for Gary Barnhart Construction.

Bud was an avid collector of vintage cars and coins and enjoyed working on automobiles. He cherished the time spent with his large and loving family.

He was predeceased by his wife Marlene E. Barnhart, daughter Donna Acton, brother James Barnhart, and is survived by his brother Gary Barnhart, son Thomas Barnhart, daughters Rebecca Spencer (Tom Spencer), Dianna Wood (Trent Jarrell), and Betsy Woyton, along with 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, at 1:00pm at 5225 Se 183rd Avenue Rd, Ocklawaha, FL 34479. Burial arrangements will be announced at a later date.
