Bonnie Ann Barber
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Bonnie Barber, a beloved mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. A woman of immeasurable talent, and wit, Bonnie was born on November 6, 1956, and left this world far too soon on November 23, 2024.Bonnie’s life was a testament to her vivacious spirit and an unending commitment to the welfare of others. Her greatest accomplishment, in her own words, was raising her daughter Jennifer, and the pure joy she found in watching her grandsons, Joseph and Alexander Decker, grow into young men.
In her professional life, Bonnie dedicated many years to various roles in the school system. Her fun nature and talent for creating a safe and encouraging environment made a difference in the lives of numerous students. Her influence extended beyond her immediate family and professional career into the numerous lives she has touched through her vibrant and loving personality.
Bonnie is survived by her loving daughter, Jennifer Decker and her thoughtful son-in-law, Richard Decker. She leaves behind a legacy of love with her grandsons, Joseph and Alexander Decker, her cherished sister, Kathy Kinney, and her nephew, Robin Kinney. She now joins her father, Edward Wallace, and her mother, Joanne Wallace in rest.
Bonnie Barber will be remembered fondly and missed dearly by all who knew her. Her exuberant nature and her capacity for fun and laughter have left a mark that will never be forgotten. We take some comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on in those who were fortunate to have known her.
