Cindy Joan Smith was 79 when God took her home on January 31st, 2025, walked her through the pearly white gates of Heaven to rest her body. Where there would be no more pain. Cindy was born on April 10, 1945, in Manhattan, New York to mother, Kimberly Anna Biel. Maiden name (Masco) short for Mussolini/Moscow. Was raised by her mother then her grandmother Martha Susanna Watts AKA Susie. She lived in London, studied in Hollywood, Florida. Her first job was working in the cotton and watermelon fields. She moved to Marion County approximately around 1974, then worked as a bartender until she saved enough money to buy the Big Scrub Bar AKA Watering Hole. She is survived by Carrie Reymann (sister), Tracy Smith (son), Spring Smith & Melinda Wiley (daughters). She was preceded in death by her brother Albert Townsend, her oldest son Thomas Albert Chiorano, grandson Thomas E. Chiorano, and her Mother Kimberly Biel. Cindy loved with every beat of her heart ALL her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved arts and crafts, salt and freshwater fishing for those butter belly cats, love for the ocean, scuba diving, enjoying outdoor activities, and loved music. Her favorite song was, “I Hope You Dance” and she never passed up an opportunity to dance.
