Constance “Connie” Vance

Constance “Connie” Vance was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on December 12,1960. She was the oldest of five and loved her baby brothers and sister more than anything. Connie was devoted to the First Baptist Church of Weirsdale and spent much of her free time helping at the church. Her kids and grandbabies were the light of her life and enjoyed spoiling them with her time and as many presents as she could carry. Everything that she did, was with intention. She would do anything to make you smile or laugh, she always made sure that whoever she was talking with knew they were loved. Fun and laughter were never something that lacked in her household, from purple hair to sarcastic jokes. She shared her love of food, baking and popsicles with her friends, family and even her pets. She held many titles, Mom, Sister, Wife, Grammy, Aunt, Friend and she exceled at every one of them with her kind heart and overflowing amounts of love.

Connie passed away on August 23, 2022, in The Villages, Florida at the age of 61. She is survived by her father, Anthony Hugar Sr. and his wife Marie; husband, Maynard Vance; children, Amber Vance, Pamela Mogollon, Alicia Moore, Jennifer Smith and Christopher Vance; grandchildren, Penelope, Skyler, Gage, Lilah, Liam, Brittany, James, Hailey, and Brylynn; siblings and their spouses, Anthony Jr. and Rosa Hugar, Stanley and Veronica Hugar, Larry and Danel Hugar, and Julianne and Andrew Adjutant; several nieces and nephews; and Aunt Ginger Hugar who was like a mother to her; Uncle Ronald and Michelle Campbell; as well as her beloved puppies Bella and Gracie and Fred the cat. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Taynor, and stepfather, James Taynor.

Connie will be forever missed and loved by all that knew her. In lieu of flowers, please send any donations to the First Baptist Church of Weirsdale. Her ashes will be spread alongside her mother and stepfather in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
