Wayne M. James

WAYNE M JAMES, 80 of Silver Springs, Fl passed away on March 28, 2026 in Ocala, Fl.  Wayne was born in Key West Fl on June 29, 1945. He graduated Titusville High School in 1963. He married Linda Runions on August 10, 1963. He was a mechanic by trade and worked in various cities throughout the US.  Wayne is survived by the love of his life of 63 yrs. Linda R James; daughters Tammy J  Burk, Oak Grove, Mo and Kathy J Essig, Urbana, Mo; grandchildren Christopher Burk, Brooke Hawkins, Holly Roberson, Jason Burk, Larissa Merritt, and April Arnold; 10 great grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents Harold Lee James and Bessie Mae Young James and his sister Charlotte Strickland all of Al.  His love for travel and music holds a special place in our hearts. He had friends all over  the country and really didn’t know a stranger. He was always willing to help out a friend.
He’ll never be forgotten.
