
Robert Wroblewski

Robert (Bob) Wroblewski passed away on February 26th in hospice care surrounded by his family. Bob is survived by his brother, Jerry (Joan) and sister Christine Trch. Four sons, Mark (Laurie), James (Alison), Thomas (Diana), Richard (Jolie), and grandfather of Nathan, Aaron, Caitlyn, Kyle (Lori), Patrick (Amanda), Sarah (Cid), Evan (Sarah), Amanda (Jimmy), Milena, Carmen, Isabelle, and Alex. Great-grandfather of Hannah, Jaxon, Sophie and Maya.
He is predeceased by his wife Jeanette in September 2025, mother (Lola), father (Charles), brothers (Fr. Marion and Carl) and daughter-in-law (Ann).
Bob was born in Chicago to Lola (Korzeniowski)and Charles Wroblewski and baptized at St. Hyacinth Church. He graduated from Gorden Technical High School in 1955. Bob then joined the Air Force for 4 years and achieved the rank of Sr. Airman – Radar Specialist. After leaving the Air Force, Robert started his career at Bell Long Lines (AT&T) and married his childhood friend Jeanette Zielinski in May of 1961. The family grew rapidly to 5 and in 1966 they moved to Redford Michigan due Bob’s job transfer. The family was complete in 1968 with the arrival of Richard. In 1976 the family moved to Livonia Michigan. When Bob and Jeanette retired, they traveled all over the United States by camper, especially enjoying Alaska and Hawaii and then moved to Florida the Sunshine State full time in 2003. Bob had many hobbies including flying remote control airplanes where he taught many people to fly and served as the announcer for flying air shows. He raced remote control Cars and Boats and recently started racing and collecting slot cars. Most of his hobby friends called him Robo for short. Bob was a member of the New Pretenders in the Top of the World Community most recently performing the opening act as George Burns. Bob was a lector at Queen of Peace Catholic Church (Ocala, FL) and St. Priscilla Catholic Church (Livonia, MI), sang in a barbershop chorus, and was Cub Master of Pack 499 when his sons were active in scouts.
The family will hold a celebration of Bob’s life at Saint Priscilla Catholic Church at 19120 Purlingbrook St, Livonia, MI 48152 on May 23, 2026. Visitation begins at 9:30 am and the service starts at 10:00. Internment
immediately following at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery located at 25800 W 10 Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48033. The family would like to thank Advent Hospital and EW & Lucille Cates Hospice House for their compassion and excellent care.
