Cynthia Mary Brewer

October 21, 1930 » December 7, 2025

Cynthia Mary “Cindy” Brewer (née Roberts), age 95, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, at  home in Anthony, Florida.

Born to William & Alice Roberts on October 21, 1930, in Bishops Waltham, England, Cindy lived a long and remarkable life that touched many across generations and continents.

Cindy proudly served her country as a member of the Women’s Royal Army Corps (WRAC) in England. Her time in service reflected her strength, dedication, and sense of duty—qualities that would define her throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Brewer, and her brothers Michael and David Roberts.

Cindy is lovingly remembered by her son Andrew & wife Beverley; daughter Elizabeth Whinery & husband Allen; Granddaughters Claire Louise, Leanne, husband Stuart & great grandson Oliver, Victoria, Montana & husband Tyler & great  grandson Liam; grandson Dylan; her brother William & wife Valarie, her (step) son Ray & wife Andreea, (step) granddaughters Lee & husband Shawn and Danielle.

Known affectionately as the “local Queen of England,” Cindy brought warmth and joy to every room she entered. Her charm and quick wit endeared her to all who knew her. As a beloved mother and grandmother, she created a legacy of love that will continue to live on through her family.

Cindy found a welcoming spiritual home at the Fort McCoy Church of God. During her final months, when she was no longer able to attend services, her spirits were immeasurably lifted by the thoughtful ‘Tea Party’ gatherings hosted by the ladies of the church. These cherished moments with ‘the girls,’ complete with her ‘best china’ teacups and fancy hats, brought her immense joy.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to her dear friend and neighbor Sandra Jenkins, as well as Jennifer Bass, Jennifer LaRue, Linda Riley, Linda Clift, Sherlene Sweet, and everyone at the Fort McCoy Church of God in Fort McCoy, Florida, for making Cindy feel so special.

May the memory of her smile bring comfort to those who knew and cherished her.

Elizabeth & Allen would like to thank Patty, Crystal & Pastor John, and all of the incredible people from Hospice Of Marion County for their care of Mom and for making these last months a little easier on us, and for loving her almost as much as us. Special thanks to Ken for being the final watchman with us, and helping us navigate those first difficult hours.

There will be a celebration of life, to be arranged at a later date, where we can honor her memory, with friends and family in Wisconsin, as well as next year in England when we return her & her husband home as were their wishes
