Amy Dawn Blanco, née Bastille, of Summerfield, FL died unexpectedly on Saturday August 8, 2025. She was 51 years old. She was born May 23, 1974 in Gainesville, Georgia, and from age 10 months on grew up in Lebanon, CT. She attended Lebanon Elementary School and graduated Lyman Memorial High School in 1992.
She always loved children and animals and was a proud mother of four sons, at the time of her passing. As an avid animal lover, she had worked on farms for baby cows and goats, and was actively involved in animal rescue for numerous organizations including more recently for organizations that rescue pit bulls or “pitties.” Throughout her life, she had owned every possible animal you could imagine including cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, chinchillas, turtles, goats, chickens, and horses. Her family and close friends will always remember her kind spirit, sense of humor, wit, empathy, and willingness to listen and help out her friends.
Amy will be in the hearts and memories of her husband of 17 years, Pedro Blanco, her son, Mason (11), her three adult sons Devin (32), Aaron (31), and Riley Crouch (27), her mother, June Robinson, her aunt, Eve O’Keefe, and her lifelong friends, Sherry Beaudreau and Connie Bastiani. Amy is survived by two granddaughters and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is predeceased by her brother Andy Bastille and her father Roger Bastille.
