Carla Kay McNulty, 68, of Marshalltown, Iowa, passed away on February 17th, 2025 in Ocala, Florida after a long battle with illness.
Carla was born in Tama, Iowa to Donald and Shirley Polka on January 16th, 1957. She went to high school at South Tama County High and graduated in 1975. She and her son enjoyed surfing and listening to Tracey Chapman and Fine Young Cannibals together. Carla and her oldest daughter have many memories traveling such as going to Talofofo Falls and spending a lot of time at the beach.
On October 28th, 1994, Carla married her soulmate. She worked in customer service for a few years but her biggest accomplishment was being a stay at home mom to their daughter. Carla enjoyed going to baseball games and NASCAR races as well as camping and fishing with her husband and youngest daughter.
Carla is survived by her husband of 31 years, Shaun McNulty of Ocala, Florida, her son Shane Little of Palm Harbor, Florida, her daughter Chelsea Kramer and her children Danielle and Kinnick of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and her daughter Jaclyn DeWalt and husband Daniel and their son Nolan of York, South Carolina.
She is predeceased in death by her parents, Donald and Shirley Polka, her infant brother, Robert Polka, her maternal grandparents, Roy and Lulu Smith and her uncle, Charles “Bud” Smith.
