Timothy Daniel Trojnar

Timothy Daniel Trojnar, 72, Ocala, Florida passed away on September 10, 2025. Preceded in death by his parents, Edward Trojnar and Alice Sawicki Trojnar, two brothers, Christopher Trojnar and Bruce Trojnar. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Wanda Bailey Trojnar, and sister, Constance Trojnar of Chicago, IL and many friends and family. A devoted animal lover, Tim leaves behind his beloved cocker spaniel, Kavik.

Tim was born June 8, 1953 in Chicago, IL and spent his childhood in Lansing, IL. Tim was a graduate of Saint
Ann Catholic School and Thornton Fractional South High School. He received his BS in Education from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL and MS degree in Education Administration from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA.

In 1979 during an “End of the Year Poker Party for Teachers” in Atlanta, Tim met his future wife, Wanda, or as he would always say where he ‘won’ Wanda. They married in 1984 and resided in St. Pete Beach, FL for over 40 years. Tim worked as a teacher for a few years, after which he worked for Jostens Yearbook in SW Florida and then Delmar School Picture Company/Herff Jones in St. Petersburg. Eventually, becoming the business owner, Tim expanded his territory to include Tampa Bay, SW Florida and the Pasco areas for over 25 years. As an entrepreneur, Tim complemented his interests in several business ventures. In semi-retirement Tim and Wanda split their time between Ocala and St. Pete Beach, FL. Due to recent hurricanes, Tim was excited to return to their newly-renovated beach home.

In memory of Tim, donations can be made to The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch or a charity of choice. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
