Jan Katherine Rhodes

Jan Katherine Rhodes “Jade”, 66 of Marion County Fl,
Passed away peacefully on October 26, 2025 at Brandley Hospice House, after being diagnosed
With stage 4 bone cancer in March of 2025. Refusing Chemotherapy. She wanted and had her
final days surrounded by her loved ones.
Jan was born in Little Rock, Arkansas and moved to Marion county over 30 years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse “Pappoo” Maddox and Dorothy “Mammaw”
Maddox.
Jan’s survived by her Sisters Kaye Horne, Susan Maddox, and Caroline Maddox, her son Kyle
Rhodes and her estranged daughter Victoria Rhodes.
A celebration of life will be held in the near future where family and friends will gather to
remember all the lives that Jan “Jade” has touched with her love.
Jan was a woman who has given so much to her family and friends and she will truly be missed
by all that knew her.
