Daryl “Brent” Allen

Daryl Brent “Brent” Allen, 62, of The Villages, Florida, formerly of Maineville, Ohio, passed away on April 16, 2026, following a courageous battle with colon cancer.

Brent was born on September 10, 1963. He will be remembered for a life filled with love, laughter, and deep devotion to his family.

Brent was the beloved husband of Mary, with whom he shared 27 wonderful years of marriage. He was a proud and loving father to Christina (Brian) Lahman, Stephanie (Bryan) Boudouris, Cory (Lauren) Allen, Kaitlyn (Jon) Stafford, Jerod (Kourtney) Allen, and Nicholas Cooper. He was also a cherished grandfather to Ella, Eva, and Nolan Lahman; Cooper, Caroline, and Carter Boudouris; and Zoey and Finley Allen.

He is survived by his mother, Velma Allen; his sister, Debra Bolling and brothers, Dave Allen and Gary Allen and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Allen and first wife, Elizabeth Allen.

Brent dedicated over 30 years of his life to education in the Kings local school district, serving as both a teacher and principal. He had a lasting impact on countless students and colleagues. He was a true Kings Knight through and through.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Brent had a special passion for basketball, both as a player and a coach. He also enjoyed golfing and cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals.

Brent was truly the life of the party known for his warmth, humor, and gift for words. He had a way of bringing people together and making everyone feel valued.

A memorial of Brent’s life will be held on May 9, 2026, at West Church of Christ in Lebanon, Ohio, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. A brief memorial service will begin at 4:30 p.m.

Brent’s legacy of love, laughter, and connection will live on in all who knew him.
