Brenda Haydon

Brenda Haydon, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2026, in Ocala, surrounded by her loving family.

Brenda was born on March 7th 1961 in Ocala, Florida, to Ray and Ellen Kendrick. She devoted her life to caring for others, which was truly her greatest passion. Brenda worked as a professional caregiver and took great pride in helping those in need. To her, every patient was treated like family.

Brenda was the devoted wife of her late husband, Jon Haydon, who was the love of her life. The two shared a deep bond where words were often unnecessary. Together they built a life centered around love and family. Brenda was also a loving mother to her daughter, Lisa, and a proud grandmother to her granddaughter, Briona, who brought her endless joy and was truly the center of her world.

Brenda found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved fishing with her family at the Barge Canal, spending time sewing and crafting, and shopping for bargains. Always looking for ways to give to others. Known for her generous heart, Brenda would do anything for anyone. She cherished her family and embraced the simple Florida life, always finding joy in the little things and making each day an opportunity to help someone.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Lisa Landers; her granddaughter, Briona Mills; her mother, Ellen Kendrick; her sister, Wendy (Dennis) Fales; and her brother, Kevin Kendrick (Brandy). She is also survived by four nephews, one niece, seven great-nephews, three great-nieces, one great-great-nephew, and one great-great-niece.

She was preceded in death by her loving father, Ray Kendrick; her brother, Ken Kendrick; and her beloved husband, Jon Haydon.

Cremation has taken place, and the family will hold a private ceremony at a later date. In honor of Brenda’s compassionate spirit and love for others, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter or nursing home.
