Kevin Doherty

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Kevin Doherty, who fought so hard for so long. He did not want to leave, and he never wanted to give up. He fought bravely until the very end.

Kevin had a big heart for everyone and always put his loving wife first. He loved and cared deeply for his wife, Edel Doherty, and together they shared a beautiful 23yrs of marriage filled with love, devotion, and friendship. They were truly each other’s best friend.

As a father, Kevin taught his daughter so much, and she was incredibly proud to call him her dad. Kevin was a loving husband, a devoted father, grandfather, a son, a brother, and a friend who meant so much to so many.

Kevin touched countless lives through his kindness, strength, and compassion for others. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, being a proud Jacksonville Jaguars fan, his resilience, and the way he always showed up for the people he cared about.

The family will not be holding a service. Before his passing, they were deeply touched by the many kind words shared and by everyone who came to visit him. The family is incredibly grateful for the love, prayers, and support from family and friends during this difficult time.
