Richard Burger

Richard Burger, born on March 18, 1950, in Pierre, South Dakota, passed away on September 14, 2025, in Gainesville, Florida. He was 75 years old.

Richard proudly served his country in the United States Navy before embarking on a long and dedicated career as a truck Driver for Davis Trucking, while maintaining a perfect driving record. His years on the road reflected his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for those he cared about.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Laura Burger; his mother, Lou Sencenbaugh; brothers Jackie Burger, Danny Burger, and Tony Burger; and sisters Edie Fisher and Lana Gilland.

Richard is survived by his daughter Christine Burger (Sidney Floyd) and his son Richard Burger (Kelly). He also leaves behind his brother Jamie Burger and sister Mickie McFadden.

His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Michael Burger, Matthew Kirk, Breanna Kirk, Richard Burger, and Rilyn Burger- as well as numerous great-grandchildren who will carry forward his memory.
