Peggy Sue Nall, 85, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, in Ocala, Florida. She was born on December 14, 1939, in Falls City, Nebraska, to Velma (Martin) and Max Hargrove and grew up in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Peggy began her career as a hairdresser and went on to own and operate a variety of businesses with her husband Frank (Skip), including a salon, restaurants, and even a ski resort. She was also a motivational speaker, a makeup and skincare consultant, and later retired as a corporate trainer with GE Capital. Known for her energetic spirit, Peggy poured her passion into every endeavor and inspired many with her positivity.

Beyond her career, Peggy dedicated herself to serving others. She worked as a caregiver with Angels for Elders, volunteered faithfully in nursing homes, and taught computer classes at Azalea Park Baptist School. She also mentored through church ministries and was always the person people could count on when they needed encouragement or help.

Her faith was the center of her life. She loved attending church, listening to sermons, participating in Bible studies, and ministering to others. Peggy also found peace and joy in God’s creation, whether listening to the birds outside or soaking in the beauty of nature. Her adventurous spirit took her from hiking glaciers in Alaska to deep sea fishing in Mexico to watching manatees and dolphins in Florida.

Peggy raised her family in Bonner Springs, Kansas, and later lived in Las Vegas, Texas, and Kentucky. She spent more than 15 years in Florida, recently returning and making her home in Ocala. Her home was always open, and she lovingly welcomed and raised many children beyond her own. Countless “adopted” sons and daughters found comfort, guidance, and a second family under her roof, a legacy of love that continued throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Frank A. Nall, Jr., and her son, Curtis Nall.

She is survived by her daughters, Carrie (Nall) Rivera and Nancy Henshaw; her stepdaughter, Deborah (Nall) Taylor; grandchildren, Bee Rivera, Reyes Rivera, Kristy Henshaw, Saylor Henshaw, and Derek (Amelia) Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Mila Paige and Luke. In her later years, Peggy made her home with Carrie and her grandchildren, Bee and Reyes, where she was deeply loved and surrounded by family.

Peggy will be remembered as a woman of faith, kindness, strength, and boundless energy—someone who touched countless lives with her love, generosity, and open heart.
